Reel Talk are proud to present a short film that Albert Bullock made over summer! You can watch the film, Sounds of the Underground, below Albert’s director’s statement.
Director’s statement: I don’t think I’ve met a person who lives in London who doesn’t have at least one weird story about being on the underground, or at least an instance where everything felt uncanny. It just seems to be a perpetually disorientating place in the world, and I don’t know why. So, I set out to get that feeling out there in this film. However, I don’t think I could’ve got that feeling across successfully without David Giddy from C-22, (a great band based at Warwick Uni), being kind enough to create and supply the score for it. David’s score really took something I originally meant as a private passion project into a film I thought was good enough to share with people.
